About Doc's Whimsies
In 2025, my dream of living in a bungalow on the Monterey coast came true. I've been in love with this area since childhood. The tide pools along Asilomar Beach were my playground, where I discovered my own whimsy. Lately, I've been spending time in my “lab,” where I garden, cook, sew, and aspire to sell plants online.

I write about my gardening endeavors in the fog belt (zone 10a) and share my cottage projects.
What I'm selling, and where
The shop lives on Etsy. I keep the storefront there so this site can stay what it is: a slower, quieter place to read about the work rather than hurry through a checkout.
